Cobb County is home to the nationally renowned Cobb County School District. It is the 2nd largest in the state of Georgia with currently over 100,000 students enrolled. Walton High School was featured in "Outstanding American High Schools." Six of the Cobb County high schools are "Magnet Schools" which have programs for the academically advance. The elementary schools in Cobb County have had record scores on standardized testing. The school district in Cobb is another reason that makes Cobb County a great place to live and raise a family.
